FAQs

Cosmetic dentistry is a branch of dentistry that focuses on improving the appearance of a person’s teeth, gums, and smile. It involves various treatments and procedures aimed at enhancing the aesthetics of the teeth while also considering their functionality.

The longevity of teeth whitening results can vary depending on several factors such as lifestyle habits (smoking, consumption of staining foods or drinks), oral hygiene practices, and individual characteristics. Typically, professional teeth whitening can last anywhere from several months to a couple of years. However, touch-up treatments may be required periodically to maintain the desired level of whiteness.

Dental veneers are thin shells, usually made of porcelain or composite resin, that are custom-made to cover the front surface of the teeth. They can improve the appearance of teeth by altering their color, shape, size, or length. Veneers are bonded to the teeth using a dental adhesive, resulting in a natural-looking and durable solution for enhancing the smile.

Yes, cosmetic dentistry offers several options to address crooked teeth. Orthodontic treatments such as braces or clear aligners can effectively straighten misaligned teeth. Additionally, dental veneers or dental bonding can be used to camouflage minor alignment issues and create the illusion of straighter teeth.

Yes, cosmetic dentistry offers effective solutions for stained or discolored teeth. Teeth whitening treatments can remove extrinsic stains caused by factors like coffee, tea, or smoking. For intrinsic stains (such as those caused by certain medications or natural tooth discoloration), dental veneers or dental bonding can be used to achieve a whiter and more uniform appearance.

It depends on the treatment and how many teeth are involved. Our In-House Smile Plan is $325 a year for one person or $725 for a family of three, and includes 20% off whitening and crowns. .

We’ll give you the full cost in writing at your consultation, before anything is scheduled.

No. Whitening is cosmetic in every plan we’ve seen, so you should expect to pay out of pocket. Our In-House Smile Plan includes 20% off whitening, which is usually the cheapest route for patients without a functional reason for treatment.
